Crossfit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1)
B.S. in Kinesiology
Sport has always been one of the great loves of my life. I spent the majority of my childhood on the soccer field or basketball court and continued to play soccer and study Kinesiology in college. I became certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and started working as a personal trainer right after graduating in 2011. I have experience working with all demographics and fitness levels, from young athletes to moms, to those recovering from hip replacements—even a 96-year-old! I had my first daughter in 2021, and since then, I have loved focusing even more on women specifically. I find deep joy in helping them feel confident in the gym and in their own bodies through fitness and community.
Having the ability to come alongside people at any point in their health and fitness journey is an incredible privilege. Health is multi-faceted (physical, emotional, relational, spiritual), and working to create an environment where people can grow in overall health is one of my greatest passions in life. I love connecting with people exactly where they are while simultaneously helping them grow into what they hope to become. I enjoy focusing on quality of movement and identifying areas that might be hindering growth in one way or another. I also love motivating people and seeing the look on their faces when they accomplish something they didn’t think they could. This job is such a blast!
